There is part of me that wants to sign up with some DE and/or Founders smut, just to represent various interests among what I’m sure is going to be a tide of Harry/Draco slash, but there is an even bigger part of me that would die of embarrassment.

(Though I’m willing to be convinced by anyone who has a favourite story for me to dust off).

Anything popping into your mind that you think would make a good read? ;P I’ve been looking through stuff today, and of course I have my faves, but I don’t know what appeal they’d have for the broader fandom. Our little DE niche was so cozy and supportive. ;)

The FAQ on the pitch sessions says you need a completed manuscript (which I don’t have, and if I do manage by some miracle to scrape one together by July, it wouldn’t be a polished version) and it seems to be more YA-focused people (which I am not; my characters just plain want to have sex). So I don’t know if I would be wasting their time. I definitely will be following the Quill Track while we’re there, though, or at least the parts of it that are less YA-specific.

We haven’t announced it officially yet, but we will actually have an agent who specifically represents erotica!  She’ll not only do a pitch session (for those with completed works), but also a workshop for those who are thinking about taking a crack at pro-erotica, but don’t know where to get started. In that session, you can come with partial drafts, or just ideas/outlines/writing samples. There will also be a panel on writing & publishing erotica, featuring panelists who all have HP fanfic writing backgrounds. Details will go up next week :)
